Yeah, you goin' to college, you lowered your options
Like what is your problem, you said that you got it, huh
Okay, now we havin' problems
I pray we can solve em
Yeah, let's give it to God, I know he'll resolve em
Oh, now we got a problem, ayy
Like how I keep goin
You movin' away to a new place, it's far from the same
Your heart is asleep, but you wide awake, uh
You say that we cool, but lately I'm actin' a fool
Like what could I do, I'm givin' it time, I'm givin' it space
I wanna rewind and try to replace all my mistakes
But I can't change, I'm my own, I'm runnin' a race
Yeah, it's lonely, but I'm far from alone, ayy
I wanna be holy and mentioned with greats
And known by the Father and friends with the Son
And live with new hope and count up the sums
I know I'm still young, but I don't got no time
To be slackin' off dumb, I'm young, but I'm realer
A new heart and I'm seein' more clearer
I wanna reach high, but I don't got a cape, man
I ain't no hearer, I'm feelin' depressed, man
I gotta cheer up, the Lord has drawn nearer
To the ones who gon' tear up, like I got a problem
I'm weighin' my options, do I choose peace
Or try to stand up and speak for myself
I'd rather be humble and silent and build up my wealth
But you got a scholarship, and I got the promises
And maybe it's obvious that we got accomplishments
But we havin' problems, ayy
So how we gon' solve it, hey
Yeah, you goin' to college, you lowered your options
Like what is your problem, you said that you got it, huh
Okay, now we havin' problems
I pray we can solve em
Yeah, let's give it to God, I know he'll resolve em
Oh, now we got a problem
Yeah, you goin' to college, you lowered your options
Like what is your problem, you said that you got it, huh
Okay, now we havin' problems
I pray we can solve em
Yeah, let's give it to God, I know he'll resolve em
Oh, now we got a problem, ayy
I mean it's all love and that ain't a diss
But lately I'm pissed off, I'm tryna get this off
I'm sick of y'all puttin' your trust in the world
Buddy, we all on a "tick-tock"
And now I can see that all y'all been doin
Is livin' for sin and don't stop
It's cold out, but y'all just be rockin' the flip-flops
I got no more time, like I ain't got a wristwatch
My family been torn, so I'm blockin' my door
And I'm makin' this hip-hop
I'm tryna get help, but I'm pushin' myself past the pit stop
I gotta keep goin' and makin' a move on the scene
What am I sayin'? What do I mean
What am I seein'? This vision is blurry
I need a prescription, I can't even look at the stars
But I am an artist, so I'ma make mine with this gift from my God
And show y'all the way
But y'all don't wanna be saved
Like, why I get down every day
I'm smilin' right now, cause it's been a helluva day
Okay, but y'all got a major
And I got the favor
I'm goin' to places
While some of y'all tryna write papers
You choosin' a path that leads to a rager
I'm choosin' a path that leads to the savior
Back to the point, cause you havin' problems
On choosin' a major
Yeah, you goin' to college, you lowered your options
Like what is your problem, you said that you got it, huh
Okay, now we havin' problems
I pray we can solve em
Yeah, let's give it to God, I know he'll resolve em
Oh, now we got a problem
Yeah, you goin' to college, you lowered your options
Like what is your problem, you said that you got it, huh
Okay, now we havin' problems
I pray we can solve em
Yeah, let's give it to God, I know he'll resolve em
Oh, now we got a problem, ayy
