I could not see
It was so late
To be so lost

Lucky for me

I now laugh

There are some I've spoken with
Where it seems a useless task
To get them to answer questions
They would never ask

But I have been through all of it

But having all the excuses

Where were they before
A life with Christ my Savior

But some people that I've spoken to

As Christ is now  my Savior
All can surely see
The life and light and spirit that lives deep within me.
And my life is now a story
So easy to read
Out from the dark
Into the light for all to see

And now my world is now a better place
That I cannot ignore
But I have been through all of it
With the strength of Christ my Lord

And when others start to walk with you
It's not a useless task
To ask yourself the questions
You've been afraid to ask
