And in the morning rose seven angels from the dark Pacific that was their bath
They were seeking the rainbow's end and what four-leaf clovers lay in their path
And on the shore they found Rebecca, she was singing, they could hear her
She was searching for the same things, so, for a time, they traveled near her

Poor Rebecca, over and over, so unlucky was each birthday
Not a single four-leaf clover, but she could hear them singing far away

At one time but many places the rings are at our feet

And at the end of Rebecca's rainbow there was no gold to be found
But just the start of another rainbow, seven colors touched the ground
And at the end of the second rainbow grew a clover with three leaves on its stem
And the love that they had left her, and so this time she sang to them
