You’re like a ghost pointing an empty sleeve and smirking at everything that people feel or want or struggle for I pity you You pity me? Isn't there anything? What touches you? What warms you? Every man has a dream, what do you dream about? What do you need? You don’t need anything do you? People? Love? An idea just to cling to? You poor slob, you’re all alone When you go to your grave, there won’t be anybody to pull a grass up over your head Nobody to mourn you, no one to give a damn You’re all alone The misery of your need to be comes stumbling eventually The weakest quality is cruelty, I search days upon days just To find the same old thing, I skipped the dreadful moments Just have to have the them on replay but I’ve been seeing better days The sun is flaunting rays but still it’s falling A terror way beyond falling, it’s either I’ve been waiting or One of us is stalling but just keep on remembering That there’s Jesus , Lucy and wickedness And evidence that life is better on sedatives And many men still wish a death and you’re on your own You sold your soul, how hopeless Distracted by the focus and now I’m staring at the open Above so many oceans then suddenly a red flash, We spiraled through the clouds and watched my future turn to past And only a glimpse of the crash, I woke up in the distant beach with bodies in the sand My blindness is worthwhile and my fortress is torch-less We gave birth to new ideas but sometimes abortion I raised caution with a forklift The new beginning that the storm brings, as I plummet through the clouds I am grounded then the floor hits A soil’s kiss, my tears slip and my blood drips And loose lips still sink ships The wind brings me to my knees, then the skies ask for praises In exchange I get mazes and phases and a soul that is vacant And after such a time, I had practiced on my patience I waited many suns only to receive the unexpected And time’s sentiments And as nature’s nurture tortures me, I’m suffocated by earth’s gravity I'll levitate it until heaven’s clouds is under me, I ask Jesus to lift the gate higher than it already is Cause all of ya'll supposed to fit in? But that’s just the it, We’re not supposed to And that broke me down to my core, and then you ask yourself , who the f*ck cares anymore? What if I said I could love you better What if I said you’d be in control What if I said I get it What if everything’s not everything
