5 Chinese Brothers was a folk-rock band formed in New York City in the late 1980s. The band's lineup included Paul Foglino, Tom Meltzer, Joe Martin, and two non-Chinese members. They were known for their witty and literate songwriting, often with a humorous or ironic edge. The band released several albums during their active years, and their music drew influences from folk, rock, and Americana genres.
