The door to my room has golden hair with brown highlights
Once past her gateway, she shows you her awe inspiring being
Clean rather messy bedroom with posters dawned all about her sides

Everyday is a new mystery for her
In through the wide, un-blinking, eyes drift a new impression
A beginning, an ending, a depression, an elation
No matter the consequences it keeps me in fragile apprehension to see a unique reaction
Nay, retaliation to each and every one

Change. Finally it comes, the moment, long awaited
Golden happiness melts through her eyelashes
Her breast overflows with warmth
She inhales and gives fantastical color to all pictures
The room, alive again, is inviting to the vagabond with a comfortable tranquility

A joy, unprecedented, burst forth
Her voice ringing from children and adults alike
Adolescents, geriatrics, and those undecided
Every last one has grown to adore this magnificence from the sky

Change
The sky is blotted out
Without warning tearing her warmth from the heart of the room
A constant change in hue an omnipresent reminder of a current suppression
A boom brings me back to the reality of the situation, I'm not alone

A moist air flows through the girl, somber and melancholy feelings drip from her eyes
Then, slowly at first, but ever gaining rapport with the rest of the sky, sadness falls
The silence of her surprise is gone as well as all color gone with the pitter patter of the rain

As quickly as it started, it ends
A silence missed, her color eases out of the disgusting grey
An emanating immaculate white light falls into the area
She slips a smile as color leaves the canvas, making the painting pure

Intricate designs and patterns are discovered
Yet although each, singularly unique piece meets they create a gorgeous face for my sweet room
Her lungs fill with a chilling fresh breath to kiss my imagination

Change
Again, darkness descends on her
She cries to see her new creations falling
Everything once intermingled into one another, start separating
The pain felt by this tearing brings her to her knees
Darkness finally overcomes the beauty

She is gone, all things learned, pondered
And acted upon during the day lay brand new in the banks of memory
To hopefully make a better choice in the future

Yet with all trials experienced, considered, and thrown away
She is still there for me
Silent and golden with brown highlights waiting to open again
Waiting to live again
