(What do you, would you like?)
(Money were no object?)
(How would you really enjoy?)
(We’d like to be painters, we’d like to be poets, we’d like to be writers)
(Then you do that)
(You can’t earn any money that way)
(Forget the money)
(Better to have a short life, spend your life, and be really with it)
(Can become of a master of it)
(That is full of what you like doing)
(The money is the most important thing)
(And after all, what it is, long life spent in a miserable way)
(What makes you itch?)
(Go through with it, what do you want to do?)
(If you really do like what you’re doing, it doesn’t matter)
(What do I desire)
Wanted to race, wanted to chase, winners the way
Wanted to play, I wanted to face, the fears I hate
The message I gave, on april days, spoke the same controls the way, I think today
But now I wait for one time, for my time, for all times, to work mine, shrine of lies
Tried to hide all the fights, and all the nights
Behold the prize, of shining lights, before my eyes
Before I try and make amends, for precious ends
All depends on who or when, takes me in
Takes me then to, riches meant, to play pretend
Money worth a single trend, of evidence
Shows all the bright doors, and high scores, that might pour our lives forward, for life goals
Our minds forged on mind wars, to fight for, means to make us die before, our life tour
But that don't mean a thing
That don't seem to do
That don't please our dreams
That don't bleed our youth
A question comes to mind
A question comes to truth
A question for you and I
A question for me and you
(What do I desire?)
What if I get hired?
What if I get higher?
What if I get wired?
But what if I get fired?
Excuse me if i'm tired
This new to me you know
This vision I want to hold
This vision controls me and everything, you know what it's like to leave everything
Know what it's like to be this every day, moving to pace of society's ways
Moving away from these friends that I made, moving away from loose ends I create
I'm tired of this, the liars can win, the giving is in, the minutes they tick
And time flies, and what's time?
I’m losing my mind by the things I desire
Take this great image of gifts on a wishlist, give em’ to kids who deserve to be endless
Give em' to kids, I wish I could be like, maybe they'll make it the way to the finish line
Hope I wanna give, hope i’m gonna live
Hope i’m gonna be, hopefully for these
People's family, people's energy
People's fantasies and people's legacy
Ooh the things I wish to be, please make desires priority
Money makes people go take a choice, spend on themselves or make it voice
Make it a beacon of hope for others, make it a reason to keep a promise
To one day leave it with sons and mothers and daughters and father's who urge to have it
Visions of joy across the planet, reaching to those preach a manner
Of success failure and all between, who knows where the hell on that line I can be
Who knows where i'll end up in years to come, who knows who i'll be, if i'll be the one
To get them off their knees, and please the minds of these who make some odd belief of some reality
Some may not see, some may not breathe
With those who want to leave, and be the one with dreams
Who makes it, break this
Musical places
Faces, don't fake it
Don't break this, musical makeshift statement, that i’m making
Because we all know that i'm working and i’m burning
Till’ the morning, till’ the sun bleeds and i'm forming
A sacred picture, these are lines of the brush to my lunatic major
Players to the great game to the state make my demons become my savior
Later than another kid who's gonna make it there
Is this what I want to do if it's why i'm feeling so scared?
Is this what I want to do if it's why I pull out my hair?
Right out that horrible place I hate because it gives me nightmares
End of the day, i'll be back in mind
Sit in the spot where I trip and I cry
Writing these stupid ass measures and lines
Make it the way to the colorful side
Take it and break if only I try
Face it create it to conquer my life
Fate if it is, the reason I die
To find out the killer was my desires
(What do I desire?)
