What a responsibility
God has given unto thee
To open eyes so others see that Jesus is God, that Jesus is God
But God gave you the ability
To open ears and eyes to see
To tell them of eternity through Jesus our God, through Jesus our God

God gave every preacher, His written word
It's up to each preacher, to have His word heard
He's not to twist or change it, to suit society
But preach it as God wrote it, and do it faithfully

Too many preachers, preach to itching ears
Too many preachers, give in to their fears
They don't preach the whole Gospel, so sinners never know
That they are still sinners, and to hell they will go

God gave every preacher, a chance to tell
About Heaven's beauty, and torments  of hell
To tell of God's love and grace, but of His justice too
But if you fail to tell it all, God's wrath will fall on you
