People know it but they starting to ignore to the tears

For 5 years her home has been hell
And it has now been 4 since her confidence has fail
That melancholy has set in she feeling it 
Any hope for better days he killing it

And I relate cause I don seen that look in her eyes
I watch my mama get abused at a young age
Choked out on the floor, slapped in the face 
Until she started fighting back and found a happy place
And she was down for years, just had to find her way
So I don't judge. I show empathy. I feel you Queen 

I never heard of his father, don't know Where he been
But his presence could've helped lift his son from sin
He 13 and he headed down the wrong path 
Now he 20 with the wrong ways to get the bag
People judging cause they know he out here selling dope
He know it's wrong, but he ain't got no kind of sense of hope
Watching his mama stressing looking through them envelopes
Popping pills and smoking weed just to help him cope
He know the repercussions dealing with this street life
He wanna ease the stress of the one who gave him life
So he bobbin and weaving through these late nights
Heavy meditations up under them street lights
Another black mama picking out her sons casket
That's the last shit on his list that he want to happen
He quit the game, took the bread and went built  a business
And I was grateful to God just be a witness so I don't judge 
I show empathy 
I feel you king

Sometimes you can't even relate to your own pain
Without taking the time to understand someone else's 
I was unaware of how to deal with my own depression for a long time 
That was I until conveyed empathy to others 
That gave me an understanding that we all go through things 
And just as they found their way, I must do the same 
Empathy. I feel you. Do you feel me 

I had to learn empathy to conquer my depression
Everybody go through shit that was my biggest lesson
And I admit that I was guilty judging people's action
Out here putting on like nothing in my life was happening
And while I'm faking my insides is breaking up
Can't even heal because the space was all taken up
By my thoughts, if people knew that I was feeling weak
Feeling slighted by the smile every time I speak
No more faking cause my soul was broken by the sorrow
Still contemplating if I should die tomorrow 
That's an easy thought when feeling like you're low on blessings
Integrated with the thoughts that you always stressing
Watching other people conquering their own demons
Shedded light on how to implement my own treatment
Understanding others led to loving me
With that being said, I went and got my queen
So I don't judge, I learned empathy
