I remember her time bout her life when she was little
Had to sleep on the couch cuz her house had no cradle
She remember being alone in the night
Had a rule to close the light
Had a rule to shut her eyes, Why?

Cuz her parents work all day, overtime
Earning five bucks a day, both work were combined
"It's OK. I be fine", they lie
Till she she bruises on her own dad's eyes (NO)

One day her parents into her room
Told her be a good girl, go to school
And get a good grade, a good a career
So you can satisfy your parents, we'll be joys of tears

As the day come by, she had a vision
To study, to focus and make wise decision

But in her younger days
It's hard to say
And both parents getting hurt
Mom couldn't work 
And she took her place
Dropping school, mom's sick, her dreams delay  (What's that)

Her dreams are starting to fade away
Cuz her family comes first
With her mom's curse
Mom's with the nurse
Getting treated with the patient shirt

Now she's in trouble, tryna hurdle
All the trouble, she's got work though
To fight through the struggle

And she remember having depression a few years ago
But she couldn't afford a therapist, she end up taking dope
Overdose too much drug, she faint
In the hospital repeating her name

And that this is the treatment she had to pay
Thousands of dollar so they can fix her brain
But she rather have the pain than go insane
Then stop her from putting drugs in her vein

Her own job, she was fired
Hard labour, she was tired
Coming home thinking, end life a little faster

What about the people that left her
Who never came here to help cuz she was here to support them
When they were in doubt
But they weren't helping her fam

Do you think they would care that she end her life
Do you think they would care that she past the line
They won't care cuz their the type of friends that lie 

Their own memories says "F you little girl
Get out of my life before I leave you cuz
B***h, you know that I'm cool
Know your demons gonna haunt you
Know your fears are f***king there too"

Her own pathway is the future, F it
Take a few steps, enjoy the moment
Take your time, one step of a minute

Nowadays, stuff overpay
Putting memory up about to fade
One day, she'll say "Hooray "
Just wait till you see that smile on that face

She's a lawyer, fighting for people like her
She's a lover, cuz she's been blessed with it
With the ability to conquer it
