Ground is deep where the flower grows, I'm blooming them with the burning soil
Only in the night when that can grow, I'm working burning midnight oil

This right here is the soul that I have that was rained on hard when the cloud came in
That right there is the hole I'm in beyond outside world that I ain't in

Don't let the world console to your needs because of your illness, whatever it may be
We all have different ones ourselves. So you're not alone

I've dreamt of you for the past three nights and in those dreams I wish I stayed
Dreams are one escape from the living life that would make your vision fade
They are not dreams in the light air, shit gets down cause I might care
When I wake up, wanna stay up, when I get down I get nightmares
What does it mean when the sun don't shine no more as it turns to fall?
Darkness ringing up loud should I pick this up or wait to return its call?
Waking up each time at the dusk I do my duties in the long night
Burn a candle it is one way I create my own light

When my mind is living, I be burning through the light
Get my music fucking going, I be bumping through the night
Dusk is here, I'm wide awake, I'm working under all the stars
When the dawn is here, I'm gone to sleep, the light is feeling far

And on top of that, you can't beg the universe to console to your needs 
Because you may think you feel special
You have to adapt to the way it goes and get on top of it

Even though I don't have light, that will never stop me staying up working all night long
Even though the time's not right, I would never complain maybe this where I belong
Sun is up when I'm fast asleep, I'm working hard now when the night would creep
No light never stop me, let me light that wax and leave it on 'till I sleep
Working around these limits, I be thinking outside this hole
I be moving on from the fact my freedom's what they fucking stole
I ain't mad no more, sad no more, need this mind to be feeling clear
Can't be wasting this time that I live getting up to the fucking stratosphere

Don't be influenced by what the world thinks of you
Only you should be able to choose what you do, how you feel, and how you act
Don't follow them, follow yourself

They be stealing this time that I take when I work on getting that light down here
Take this oil then I burn it high 'till it reaches up with the clouds I hear
All I hear is me, myself, and all my thoughts inside the mind
All the answers are inside me all the ones that I would find
Feel like everyone's not themselves anymore and they're all alike
When they feel down, they will post their pic, they will feel better once they get those likes
Never compare yourself, that is not the choice to the path of truly winning
Never compare one's final chapter when you're at your new beginning

It's not about how much money you make at the end of the day 
Because money is not the gauge to your success
Some of those who are wealthy, some of them are miserable 
Because they earned their money doing stuff they don't like doing
Your success is determined by how much you love doing what you do 
And how fulfilled you are with your life each day
Because there's no stopping you if you believe in what you do
So don't let the world revolve around you
Don't let it influence you on what you can or cannot do
Only you can decide that and you got to revolve around this world
