Sometimes you know life feels like a game
We put our quarter in the slot
We give it all we got
We feel like sometimes 
We don't have a lot of time
That our health bar is too damaged
That we can't get back up in the fight
Some of us quit the game
Some of us didn't get a chance to decide for ourselves
Some of us don't realize we only got a few quarters in our pocket
This is a lil reflection of my own 25 so far

Twenty five years in man they right
The years seem long but the days fly by
Childhood fears tripped into the light
See I always felt alone & I wondered why

Was I smart enough? attractive enough? Did I make her smile? Did she fall in love?
Did I make em laugh? Did I please everyone?
Nah everybody left so I was the only one!
But now look where we are yeaa TAG be the squad
One quarter down I'm praying I get 3 more to ball
RaJan cooked up the beat he's my brother through it all
Learned to finally be myself and then real friends answered the call

Approval ain't my boss no more
Money ain't the loss no more
Fake smiles ain't the floss no more

Chasing girls ain't the pause no more

Another quarter in the slot there's a lot I wish I could change
Broke a lot of dimes, thinking they'd make sense of all my pain
Depression almost made me quit but i didn't end the game
Doubt, lies, & pain may level up but imma keep fighting everyday 
Life's thrown me a lot of tests not a lot of rest just a lot on my chest and whole lotta stress 
But that's when I get up and grind the best when I say yes to take time to invest into being my best 
Yes I'm a mess and the odds are against but my mind is set and I ain't finished yet
