Pittura infamante
Swinging from the tree of life
Suspended upside down
Wisdom from self-sacrifice

The gallows of the king
Like the hanged man I swing
Erected by my own hands
Choke on my humility

My word is my bond
I'm tied by my own tongue
Broke omerta in pursuit
Of truth in Gotterdammerung

A traitor to the old way
Committing sui-deicide
Tightrope walk the thread of life
To make divinity reified.

Ruminate in the ruins
Of my past-life kingdom
Syncopated pulse
To the universal rhythm

A flaming torch sprouting
In place of a crown
Greater power gained
From the throne I renounced

Dead dreams sleep in asphodel meadows
Channel the archetypes through my tarot
Mind racing, heart beats in allegro

Open my back with pugiones
Pull out my lungs for all to see
I have no mouth and I must scream
The price for freedom is treachery

Carve the blood eagle on me
Break the ribs from my spine
Think twice before you cross me
You'll give me strength when I survive

Your betrayal will be fatal
Naked hate in ultimatum
Send you to the gates of Hell
Where Satan eagerly awaits to take you

Think I'm playing - you're mistaken
Your slaying will be slow and painful
Split you from your nape to naval
When Death comes you will be thankful

The lesson from my fable
Sometimes when you are a king
You must betray your sovereignty
To progress on your odyssey

Defeat is not disgraceful
Accept and learn from your endings
Then in ash you sow your seeds
Rebirth in future victory

With ten swords in my back
I have let them X me out
Bloodlet to purify my soul
Collect the ichor flowing out
