But never quite had the urge
To put it out by myself, it needed that little push
So, alright

And I spruced up my YouTube
Already had my Instagram
The name I changed that, too
My tactics, changed that tune
My homie had a camera with the lights and the action
We spazzed at the fact, soon
Told him we should film it at my desk by the Mac too
Hundred likes on my page
I’mma drop it this Sat. dude
A remix, favorite rapper
A song, called Desperado
From a free mixtape he had dropped
Four years before
Contained no monetary value and no income was coming
But apparently the value was too much to let me stunt
So they take it over
While at the same time that we’re
Taking over
Was just a couple rhymes that were
Taken over
By the corporation that's made to show their own creative pros
So I paint a portrait
My own interpretation that we ain't gon' forget
And even if it's off I'm still thankful for it
A bullshit situation that I paved my road with
It was made to blow
Shit
Who'da thought, being creative was too, way too invasive
Turn the page and man I'm straight
But it strained, what we had made
I can't blame the algorithms that had probably tripped the system
I ain't trippin', just the heat that I had felt while in the minute
Seriously
I mean, to take something off three teens
With dreams at fifteen
A free platform, had no ads
In rap form, from notepads
No backdoors, just thoughts
Pretty straight forward
Me, I would write it
With no styles to bite
Just to find out the shit would go on to have copyrights
Man, whatever
Someone's paying attention
Even took time to mention
And pulled the plug: extension
But Art Never Dies
Through the lines of a poet
But keep your eyes peeled
