I wasted fifty pages on mistakes 
Tore up my thoughts in frustration 
After all forgot what I set out to make
And so I made you nothing
Unperturbed you gathered up my tantrum shards

You drew me to my feet to measure up
And promise something 
Held a candle to the treasures
