I know you don't think I'll make it When I do tho you'll be celebratin' (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me You don't know me, don't be mistaken If I fall now, I can take it (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me Ok I'm back at the podium Start to rap at symposiums Bet it goes over heads, Napoleon Strong as kryptonians, ever since Nickelodeon Wipe the floor with my haters, I'm such an awful custodian, look You can catch me at the local Chili's Bar & Grill (aye) My flow been dirty since the BP oil spill (aye) I kill the king and break the crown like Jack and Jill Real Gs move in silence like a drug deal I need a beautiful girl like I was Sean Kingston I'll be the first rapper ever to blow up off of LinkedIn I bring it together like Abe Lincoln I'm way better than you were thinkin', believe it Me and Hip-Hop go together like OJ and knives You and Hip-Hop go together like OJ and wives Like I'm graphing some data I put it all on the line Cause I'm not holding nothing back in case this is the last time I know you don't think I'll make it When I do tho you'll be celebratin' (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me You don't know me, don't be mistaken If I fall now, I can take it (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me This is the part where I brag about how I'm good at rappin' About how I'm so depressed and you all let it happen But when I work I don't feel it like it's muscle relaxant So I focus on getting people in my bandwagon Let me guess you thought the mixtape was way too long Bet you skipped all the sad songs and monologues You ain't got no patience at all But every time your mom plays it she can't help but sing along Your Mother's Favorite has been popping for a while bro Looking like Thanos the way that I'm collecting milestones I rise above 'em no wonder I took the higher road I ain't even mad at women who gave me the dial tone Cause now a homie is in the zone (and you gotta love it) Your mother knows my lyrics and quotes (but for you she doesn't) I'm getting close to giving up hope (I'm still working, runnin') Won't be in between I'll either be something or nothing I know you don't think I'll make it When I do tho you'll be celebratin' (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me You don't know me, don't be mistaken If I fall now, I can take it (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me (Voila) Aye lucky me, lucky me Voila Voila Well, it is my turn to monologue Lucky me Ya know, these things like monologues usually end up As the tracks with the least amount of plays And mine is the 2nd part of the outro So this will definitely be the track with the least amount of plays Lucky me Here's a story There was once a boy who was born with a leak All the happiness and good things in his life would spill out of him No matter how hard he tried to stop it The people who loved him tried to fill him up But everything would always spill out And they poured themselves into him again and again Until all of them were empty too And everything they had given him was spilled out on the floor Lucky me This is usually the part of the project where the artist says all their thank-you's To everyone who worked on this project You know who you are And you did an amazing job Who I really need to thank are my parents You've put so much into me unconditionally On my good and bad days trying to fill me up I promise I won't let what you've given me spill out Thank you Ya know I've been trying to express my "true" self through all these projects I've worked on Attempting to tell my story through music, film, whatever other medium I may dabble in But it never quite comes out right Now I'm not sure it's even possible Here's a story A young artist decides to quit music But not before making one more project His first and last album While working on the project he re-discovers his love for song-writing And is encouraged to continue making music with his new attitude and vison But the album he releases turn out mediocre Lucky me Soon after he realizes the type of artist he wants to be And begins working on a new project A year later he releases an EP consisting of the best work he's ever done But only a handful of people give him the time to listen to his efforts Lucky me The artist then embarks on his most ambitious project yet A mixtape Fully encapsulating his thoughts, feelings, and who he truly is Pouring every ounce of energy he has into it But at the same time accepts a corporate job and sidelines all of his dreams and passions For the foreseeable future Lucky me So why do I feel this way? I was given everything A good family, friends, countless opportunities and advantages I should have no reason to complain So is it Lucky Me? Or is it "Lucky Me"? And if you don't know the difference between them I recommend listening to this mixtape again until you do Because I was given everything Except for the one thing that would make it worth anything
