I hated rap my whole life, now I think I'm retarded
The melody, what they tellin' me, the life of celebrities
I'd listen every single night 'til I fell asleep
Boi-1da, T-Minus, obsessed with the beats
Drake, Wayne, Kendrick, I'm obsessed with the beasts
They start rappin' bout money, bitches, and all their ice 
How they went from a waste of life to the greatest life
I'm 13, thinkin' shit, sound like it might be nice
And then I saw my life change right before my eyes

No connections, I gotta put myself on the map
