Yeah, you're now rockin' with the best
Heavy Weight Beats
If you sitting thru a sermon hear a word pertaining
To your current situation
And you want courage to change it
Then get up out your seat and come down to the altar
You can praise and worship or let the Lord do the talkin'
Lord without You
Aye I’m a hot mess
I’m in need of Your help, let’s be honest
I put my pride to the side, time to be modest
Gotta make a checklist, keep an eye on my conscience
Prayin' I don’t slip up in any of the devil’s nonsense
I hope my service to Your Kingdom be my only bondage
Lord clear my heart of all it’s filthy contents
Feed me what I need thru Your Word’s promise
My life was birthed on a small mustard seed of faith
Knowin' of the Savior but I wouldn’t let Him lead the way
My Bible gathered dust, on it He wrote, read Me today
Still couldn’t convince my pride that I needed to pray
Until I came to the biggest enemy I’d face
Looked’em dead in the eye like this gon’ be a piece of cake
Reached for my weapon cuz I knew that the time was near
I’m left to my surprise staring at a broken mirror
If you sitting thru a sermon hear a word pertaining
To your current situation
And you want courage to change it
Then get up out your seat and come down to the altar
You can praise and worship or let the Lord do the talkin'
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
Too many titles yet there seems to be no leaders
We carry round Bibles not enuff people read’em
Breads getting moldy cuz nobody wants to eat it
Starve the flesh 'til it’s dead, don’t mess around and tease it
Temptation will entice you, lead you down a road with no end
Cuz all you want is more, not satisfied with just a hint
It’s just a little sin we say as we overindulge
Sin gives birth to death, your debt gets paid in full
You could get with sin and you will get jacked
Or you could turn to Jesus and never go back
Our sin separates us like strangers from a foreign land
Only fix is forgiveness thru the Risen and Slaughtered Lamb
Jesus offers power to alter us from the former man
One way to meet Him, you must be born again
By faith in Christ, You will be identified
Now tell the world what Jesus did, Testify
If you sitting thru a sermon hear a word pertaining
To your current situation
And you want courage to change it
Then get up out your seat and come down to the altar
You can praise and worship or let the Lord do the talkin'
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
Jesus told this parable to some who trusted in themselves
That they were righteous and treated others with contempt
Two men went up into the temple to pray
One was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector
The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed this, he said
God, I thank you that I am not like other men
Extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector
I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get
But the tax collector, standing far off
Would not even lift up his eyes to heaven
But beat his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner!
I tell you this, that that man went down to his house justified
Rather than the other
For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled
But the man who humbles himself will be exalted
If you sitting thru a sermon hear a word pertaining
To your current situation
And you want courage to change it
Then get up out your seat and come down to the altar
You can praise and worship or let the Lord do the talkin'
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
Say that’s me, Lord
That’s me
That’s me
Aye That’s me
