And whenever I played it back I would always hum
And one day I started messing around with ther instruments
I put it over the drums cuz it just made sense
And before you know it, my nigga I had tons of beats 
But the only place I could play em was on my tv
So I started thinking to me, what can I do bout this
I came up on a muzik generator computer disc
Now I got more memory so I can add more sounds
And I can put my beats on a CD, I'm finna burn this bitch down!
I made prolly 4 or 5 beats each and everyday
I was going thru cds, my nigga, by the case
I ain't have no money but I needed to buy cds
That's when a nigga started selling these beats
I was only selling them guys for 10 bucks a piece 
But multiply that by like a hunnid a week 
I was getting a lil paper and I was doing my thang
But the niggaz who was rapping on my beats was lame
I used to chill my cuz and get smoked out
Until we caught the nigga stealing shit from out of our house
But anyway, we used to freestyle for hours
That's when I realized my words had powers
Fast forward a lil bit, maybe couple of years
When mom died I recorded my first song in tears
Everybody love the song and people tell me it'll ok
But I damn near cry to this day when I hear the hook say
I remember them days when I begged to go play 
But time change things because my momma in a grave
I think I was depressed at the time but weed eased my mind
I kept on making beats while I was high and my skills started to climb
10 years after momma died, my baby is born
Muzik Alyric Frazier, to that name I've sworn
To never give up and always keep you around
You here now that I'm up just the same when I was down
For the love of muzik got double meaning to me 
It means to my child as these lyrics and beats
I ain't gone hold yall all day I could go on and on but
I hear yall niggaz now, "This a long ass bruh!"
I remember talking to Dre while getting drunk one day
I couldn't believe what big bruh had the nerve to say
He said eventually that I'd stop making muzik
I looked him dead in his face and said he sounded too foolish
That was prolly 15 years ago so this song will disprove it
Everytime I drop a new track, he be the first preview it
I done worked my whole life to be the best to do it
