Archies

The Archies was a virtual band formed in 1968 as a part of a fictional television series called "The Archie Show." The characters from the comic book series, Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, and Reggie Mantle, were behind the musical project. The band's biggest hit was the song "Sugar, Sugar," which topped the charts in 1969. The Archies had a bubblegum pop sound and their music appealed to a younger audience. more »
