I have an important thing to share
I testify that there's a God out there
He loves you cuz you are His child
If you pray to Him, He will listen with a smile
I know it's easy to forget that truth
When life throws the punches and knocks out a tooth
He is always waiting with outstretched hands
And He is ready to break off the chains and bands
So the thing I want you to understand
Is that His perspective is different than man's
He is the strongest in all the land
And can help you through all of life's demands
So please look up and trust in His plan
And know that He is your biggest fan
Now I wanna be reflective
And take a look at our mind's perspective

From my perspective
My progression has stopped
It seems that I keep being brought to a halt
It doesn't matter what I want or how much I want it
Nothing makes a difference, not one little bit
I am nothing, I am worthless, just a piece of trash
When I drive down the road of life, I end up in a crash
I'm not good enough for this life, let it end
I am alone, misery is now my best friend
He has a good life, she has an amazing career
What do I have? Nothing but a heart full of fear
Try to encourage me, I don't believe a word
Just leave me in the dark, that's what I prefer
The way I see it, nobody really needs me
Life would go on just fine, that's how it should be
So leave me here in the darkest abyss
Throw me away into the deepest pits

You are more than enough, it is not the end
You are not alone, my love, I extend
Don't compare yourself to others, that will only bring you down
Trust in my strength cuz I'll always be around
Never give up, send me a prayer
I won't leave you in the dark, I deeply care
The way I see it, I really need you
I know you have the strength to push through
