Ka'au Crater Boys

The Ka'au Crater Boys were a Hawaiian musical duo formed in the late 1980s. Consisting of Troy Fernandez and Ernie Cruz Jr., they gained popularity with their unique blend of contemporary and traditional Hawaiian music styles. The duo was known for their harmonizing vocals and Fernandez's skillful ukulele playing. Their music often encompassed elements of reggae, pop, and folk, creating a distinct sound that appealed to a wide audience. Sadly, Ernie Cruz Jr. passed away in 2016, marking the end of the Ka'au Crater Boys' musical journey. more »
