Going up in the ranks makes him feel untouchable

After being burglarized a couple times he got wiser
Slashed his number of customers to half of what he had before 
Take half a pound, a pound or even more
Call someone else if it's just for a bag to smoke
Less passing through, less visits, less assholes coming just for it
Turned out to be the formula which brought a cool peaceful side to it
He had finally learned that making noise 
Shining brighter the rest was the problem and not the goal 
The fool became the king, and fortunately for him
Cops never found out, he stopped vices and crimes
It could have been worse, he could have ended up doing time 
Not all the others managed to end their careers just fine
