I had to pick up the pieces
I had to put all my shit back together
The pain that I felt was egregious
I was on stuck
Felt like I couldnt get up like a paraplegic
I lost everything that I had
The opposition thought they had me defeated
I had my back on the wall
I fought my way out the corner
I can adapt to it all
Cause I came a long way from the corner
I looked death in the eyes several times
At times it coulda been over
I done been tricked and treated like shit
Stabbed in the back over and over yeah
But all of my losses was lessons
I'm tryna turn all my problems to blessings
I cant afford to let up for a second
Plus all my adversity made me aggressive
I'm feelin desperate to get me a win
So yeah you gon definitely see me again
And the next time bitch I'm bringin my soldiers
And all of our weapons we sneakin em in
I cut the lines so no pumpin the breaks
It's all on the line and I doubled the stakes
F*ck is you talkin' bout
Bitch we ain't walkin up outta this bitch til we each get a plate
Nobody move and nobody get hurt
Ain't got nothin to lose when you come from the dirt
So all of that blockin us ain't really stoppin us
All that you doin is makin it worse yeah
And you can miss me wit the little shit
I was breakin bread fore I barely had it 'Long as everybody gotta little bit
'Long as everybody got a little taste
We was ouchea grindin like some immigrants
When a Nike box was a nigga safe
I was tryna find a way to flip the shit
All night flight Saint Nicholas
I was just cut from a different cloth
Been choppin it up with the man in the mirror
He told me he feel like you niggaz is soft
He told me he feel like you niggaz is lames
You better thank Michael I'm makin' him change
Swear
If I said it I meant I'm keeping all 10 on the same
Square
And tryin my best to keep mine in the road
My bro been tellin me dig a lil deeper
We standin on top of a mine full of gold
I had to alter my mind and my goals
I guess it just all come in time I suppose
I'm thinkin longevity bein a better me
Still wall around with that 9 in my clothes
The leeches I left em behind with the foes
I had to lighten my load
Ain't nobody finna carry me
I had to get where I got on my own
I had to get what I got off the strength
Came up from pushin them rocks off the bench
I'm from the gutter the bottom the slums
And payin bout 25 dollars for rent yeah
