It's been a life full of struggle
All I ever do is hope that I bubble
But it's hard to avoid all the trouble
In this land of the lost
Where love has a cost
And I'm full of exhaust
As I write this poetry
Mostly about my ghetto family tree
And of course about me
And the shit that I see
What will I be
Is the question that I have in my mind
Am I falling behind
So I pause a little
As I try to find the riddle to life
'Cause I'm stuck in the middle
And I cry in the middle of the night
When I try to put up a fight
With the devil that tries
To take control of my mind
I can't see am I blind
Or am I losing my mind

And the message I repeat
Hoping that you see what I see
When I'm out on the streets
False churches and liquor stores and crooked police
Indigenous American set up to believe
In beliefs that originate in the Middle East
But you never see our beliefs being forced on other people of different lands
Colonizing my people and now you see us with holy bibles held in hand
And this ain't an attack but understand
That nothing is wrong with me
I'm writing poetry 
About the shit I see
I'm not a thug 
I'm not in a gang
I'm just a ghetto Mexican 
With a mind of his own
And I'm gonna empty my dome
With this paper and pen
Please comprehend
Am I living in sin
I'm an educated man
Native American
Original man
With original thoughts
And original beliefs
That I gathered as I see my people grieve
'Cause you make my people bleed
And so I come to plant the seed
