Until it was suffocated by the wet, compacted sand

Eventually a calm came over the sea and the buoy came to a peaceful rest

You dragged my lifeless body through the water until we washed ashore
You brought me back to life after I confronted my demons
You denounced my insecurities, fought through my fears
Covered me with grace and loved me unconditionally
I thought I was dead. . . But hope kept me alive
To serve my purpose, for God, for you, and for the world
