If you ask me what's God think about this, then I might be awhile
People think that just cause I'm a pastor, I got God on speed dial
But lemme tell you that's not how it works man (Right?)
Sometimes I be feeling uncertain (Man!)
I gotsta go back to what I know, and trust God in the meanwhile
Cause what I know about God's just a little bit
What I don't know about Him is unlimited
What I believe is right in the middle so I put those in the "lets see" pile, like
Let's see what the Word says about this
Let's see what happen when I pray about it
Let's see what the movement of the Spirit is
And if it's different from what the people say about it
I ain't trippin if I gotta stand alone y'all
And I won't do it just to be contrary
Sometimes what seems right is wrong y'all
And the wrath of God is beyond scary
So when I speak God's word it's a big concern that I keep it humble
Cause if I get too sure then my ego will guarantee I'll crumble
And when I feel God gives me a vision then I hold with an open hand 
Could be that I messed it up or that God's got a change of plans 
So don't ask me to make predictions, or tell the future, when it's not my J-O
My job is to remain faithful be a model to repay the debts I may owe
And if I can't, I pray for forgiveness
And some people like, "why you gotta go there?"
But redemption's my Father's business
And I learned that, from the Lord's prayer
So in comparison the rest is worthless
43 years in, and I've just scratched the surface of Christian wisdom, f'sho
But if you want answers now, I don't know

If we win the contest by skipping over God's part
Then God is only charity we use for popularity
But when we seek His clarity it's hidden like the lost ark

But if I think that I know how to get it then I'm trippin'
If I listen to everything that I don't know I can glisten
