This is tough for me

For the first time in a while

This morning I was feeling a certain kinda way
All these emotions are catching up
I actually decided to pray
For the first time in a long time
Do you understand what it's like
To feel so low of yourself
Some days you pretend to be someone else
Picture never getting out of bed
Asleep forever matter a fact dead
Did you hear what I said
I even think about death as a thrill
Not infatuated with chasing a mil
F*ck a paper Bill
This is something real
I need values
Otherwise I'll be sucked in
Like a vacuum
Where's the tutorial on life
Contemplating how to's
Last week I was about to
I don't mean to scare you
Let's just say I almost flew
Off a building into
A pink prius car roof
Would've gone right through
Jumped without a parachaut
The problem is
Its more than often
I'm tempted to
But then I think
That would be the end of you
And how could you
Do that
You have those who love you
You lack
The concept of patience
Cause once you make it
The days get lighter
The stars shine brighter
There will be a time
You can take a break as a fighter
And stop the battle with yourself
It takes a coward not to ask for help
It always easier said then done
If it were that easy
It would have already been done
Instead the handgun
Is pointing at someone's grandson
About to be pulled
Would that have got your attention
Here's the point of the message
Its up to you to trust a sociopaths advice
When half the time its numbed by a vice
When you gamble with your life
Its not worth the price
At what cost
Do you stop rolling the dice
You get one chance at life
Do you understand
One chance to make it right
And it's a long game
When I wrote this it was never meant for fame
Or you to remember my name
For the longest time I was ashamed
Took 22 years before I overcame
Suicide
Daily I still struggle mentally
So here's a hand from me to you
We're here to support each other
As human beings
Its what we do
Consider me a vet
Of his own battles
A cured animal
The prime example
Sometimes an angel love comes as a hand full
Humans make mistakes
Since back when eve picked the apple
What your going through now
Is nothing you can't handle
Matter a fact
