I remember one time, back when I was skippin' school 
Me, and crazy Frank, in the Chevy, it was cool 
Flyin' down the road, I was gettin' throwed 
Listenin' to the engine, and the Beastie Boys flowed 
I recall, lookin' back by the bridge that we had passed 
And there was this truck that was comin' pretty fast 
No matter how much Frank's lead foot weighed 
We couldn't go fast enough on this certain day 
It was supernatural, this old rusty truck, kept suckin' us up 
And we should have left it in the dust 
And as soon as we shot around the bend, lookin' for the end 
The only vehicle on the road, was the one that we was sittin' in 
It didn't make sense, we didn't really care 
Neither one would admit that we was really scared 
Until some years later, we would make a wager 
Bet you wouldn't go lookin' for the caretaker 
In the dark night, passed the bridge, by the cemetery 
Bring a couple chicks, they can tell us when it's gettin' scary 
I ain't scared, I grew up around the military 
I used to want to get a job at the mortuary 
People talk a lot of shit, but ain't about nothin' 
And then they f*ck around, and have to find out somethin' 
What is the essence, of all the urban legends 
And who the hell are we to come here with all these questions? 
We did it anyway, despite what we were told 
We parked the car, started walkin', talkin', feelin' bold 
And it was so still, when we made our way, to the gates 
Most of us had the same look upon our face 
All except my buddy Dave, he was not afraid 
He thought that it'd be funny, to try to make our hairs raise 
I saw him fall back, to try to hide, and start creepin' 
But I don't know, I think we might have woke up what was sleepin' 
When he tried to make us jump, runnin' up on us like he was nuts 
Somethin' else was comin' behind him, and no one could tell just what it was 
We didn't want to stick around, to investigate the scene 
Soon as the girls screamed, we all hauled ass back to Killeen 
Quicker than you would believe, Tell 'em 'bout Maxdale Rd
You might want to know, but you don't want to go 
If you got to go, don't go slow, don't stick around to hear the wind blow
