Let me start this off by sayin I am far from perfect
And I don't mean that I'm terrible and an awful person
It's just that people didn't help me when they saw me hurtin
I hope that happiness is North because my heart is searchin 
I be sittin in my room and I plot 
Born to rap man, I could either use it or not
I wanna make the world better with the music I jot
I wanna put the lines together, I'm confused by the dots
These syllables are enterin my cranium
Leeches in the DM's but I don't know what to say to them
They just want a check when I am sellin out the stadiums
All these fake friends just put a dagger through my atrium
A couple things that I would like to address 
And I'd hate for anyone to think that I am upset 
Cause I'm not
It's just that I should put the fire to rest
I'd rather run and chase my dreams than go on pilin debt
Let's face it
Half of y'all are takin shots in the dark
You had a candle that you were hopin a college would spark
Changin majors, you're feelin like you forgot who you are
This isn't everyone cause some of y'all probably smart
I'm just sayin
Don't look at me like I'm the kid who is failin
If you ain't ridin with me now, I guess that ship has been sailin
And don't be actin friendly now because the sentiment faded
I'm only sayin this because I've seen the messages lately 
It's been a minute, but no rust on the bike chain
I'm pedalin, and for your sake, I hope you ain't in my way
Cause it would be a shame for me to ruin such a nice day 
Everybody rushin life, I'm doin 30 on the highway
I took my time to plan it out, there ain't no gimmicks to it 
This one's for everybody tellin me forget the music
Cause that is not even an option when I'm jottin all the plot twist that I've lived through and I've dealt with just to fix the ruins
Cause this is just an introduction for what yet to come 
You'd be mistaken if you thought it all was said and done
The past projects I was messin 'round and testin stuff
Y'all playin checkers, it's chess and I have already one
I am story of Icarus if he held the sun
I am a product Jesus, and he has blessed his son
I know the things I'll achieve if I look ahead and run
But this is just an introduction for what's yet to come
