No one, knows I am here, maybe, thats what I fear
Had a thought to be alone, in the, twilight zone
So, to set the tone, I sit, in isolation
With lights, for company  and a, vast sea
A mere, stones throw away, and I, cant see the end
Which, loops overhead, the waves kiss
The pebbles and sand, then, retreat to the deep
But another comes along, adding to the peace among
The pen touching paper, the fresh smell
Of saltwater vapour, mixed with a seaweed flavour
The tingle on the nose, has gone
Now the sea, land and I are one

The beach is deserted, but something is here
Laughs of summer's past, I can't quite hear
I walk to the sounds, which vary each time
That rise and fall, with the re-appearing line
I squat mesmorised, by the stillness of the moment
As water floods my thoughts, I know that
If I stay too long, it will flood my being
Forcing my soul, to contemplate fleeing
The line isn't even, but it still climbs
I know I cant stop it, but maybe it'll find

Releif I feel, as a wave unfolds
Clutching my feet and then letting go
I thank it for it's mercy, even though I'm wet

As my encounter ends, I head for home
I turn both ways, there's danger where I roam
It's only then I cross,a deserted road
That has to be passed, as I aim for my abode
As the sea grows distant, my thoughts start to quicken
I talk aloud, when no one else can listen
Thoughts are more fluid, but these words catch the eseence
In a world full of stress, only love makes sense
It's only when  sleep, that I will slay
All my fears encountered, during each day
Way deep inside, something stirs
Will it slowly wake, will it burst
A child evolvng, but conscious is the form
Each day I feel it coming, closer to the fore
Will it live fully, before this body dies
And takes me to the ocean, in the night time skies
