See this life, goin by, yeah it's moving so fast
Lately I been tryna keep up but I feel far back 
Never living in moment, always stuck in the past

Said I love her I been working, needa put time in it

Always wish that we could talk, & I could walk up & hug her 
She always shone the light on you, no matter dark the struggle 
I know she watching down on us, for her, I keep up the hustle 

We used sit the front yard...watch the planes go by
But now I know she looking down, from the same place in the sky
Want you to know, I love you Omi, even though I ain't cry 
I feel guilty till this day for that, I don't know why

Maybe stuck up the motion, my emotions stuck inside
While they are numb to the Exposure, cause I'm focused rolling dice
Taking chances, cause I'm going after goals I chase in life
Sometimes I get in moments where I do not know if this is right  

But I remember grandma watching, I'm a man on a mission
Doing this for grandpa too, I bet she standing there with him
I know I'm far from perfection, but give me a pen & I'm gifted
So Imma keep on grindin' tell my doubters, they can keep wishing 

Had, a, few wins, but a lot of losses 
That's part of the process but that don't mean that I'm stopping
I had some friends that turned out fake, behind my back they were talking
How come you claim to keep it real, but when I'm there you ain't honest?

L ain't loss it's a lesson learned
Same ones I give my heart to, seem to make it hurt
But the more I think about it, it goin make it worse
Time to focus on the present, with the family first
