I don't understand why people tear each other down
It's hard to be happy looking around seeing all these frowns
I'm trying to stay up, trying to keep it on the real
But it's frustrating seeing no one care how others feel
I know that I'm out here on my own, I'm working to be my best
These other goons keep looking down on me like I'm worth less
I'm tired of the struggle and I don't need the stress
I'll wipe them out of my life to lift the pain from my chest

But making mistakes is all we've been doing

Looking toward the future and it's fogged up with dim sights

I wake up everyday the same as I go to sleep
Overthinking every feeling and memory I chose to keep

The greatest weapon is our minds
It's also our greatest ally depending on how we use it
While others heads are clouded, some know what the truth is
Yes we are all different and yet almost the same
When it comes down to it, we're more than just a name

Good or bad
We each should have each other's backs
Put aside the judgements and look eye to eye with facts
No one should have to run and none should have to die
The innocent have their rights to live yet some have to struggle to survive

Can't even turn on the news without feeling sick
Can't handle these dudes analyzing all the politics
I wish as a whole we could fix our problems with our hands
But there is no solution until everyone understands
I still believe
Still have faith
I can hold on no need to pray
Just look in the mirror and realize there's no more time to play
Do the right thing
Stand up and be heard
Work together peace preferred
I can't go another day seeing all of this hate
