On rainy days I like to kick my feet up just to think a bit
The pitter patter getting louder really starts sinking in
Basking in the beauty of God and what he’s said to be
Feeling the breeze smelling the trees puts me in serenity
Never let the clouds hide the sun I know it’s somewhere
Others start to freak out start to call him unfair
But even plants need the rain too
And when it starts to beat em down, they never look up and blame you
Why is everybody complaining about their blessing
Like it’s less than what’s expected of God, who’s thankful for their
Breath, thankful to be living life
I mean what’s a man’s right to be given life? Nothing!
He breathes in what he pleases, sees it that the seasons moving
Never sees his enemies but jealousy for evil humans
On the rainy days I always love the ambience
I rest in his plan instead of understanding it
On rainy days I like to chill on the porch in a hammock
And talk to God about everything, I mean all of it
What's the point in believing if you don't know the one you’re following
I don’t think that we get that to seek God is to talk to him
Who here’s finna die for people
Just to be ignored or even denied by people
Like nah he never did that, it’s just a fairy tale
Speak how you please but I know this man very well
Many many hours I’ve been praying in my closet
Doing it by humanistic views is just nonsense
He meets me, and I release my stress to him
It’s in these moments where He and I become the best of friends
You are intimate, our souls collide
Your presence wraps me up every time that I come inside it and i’ve
Seen a lot and felt some things but they cannot compare
To the beauty and the realness of the love that we share
