It's hard when humanity slips and is gone with the wind
It's hard when the world is all in this together
When no one can share the other side of the tether
We're better than something the world has to try to end

I'm sorry to those who have family trapped in the virus 
There aren't any words to describe the loss of a friend
The kill rate goes up, so does the boredom
But with it make art and put your life in order
The story goes on and the clock ticks until the end

No I - I just wanna make amends
To those who lost a part of themselves
And other parts of their friends
So I - I  don't know what it intends
But I think it's public health as a closure to this bitter end

It's never explained educations importance to growth
But given the price and the weight of this issue
It seems only right that we weigh out our tissues 
And stay home to get our health back into shape

I can't even fathom the tragedy that would procure 
This virus is taking the best of our people
And worst part is no one can stoop to that steeple
We'll get through it together, that's all I know it to shape
