Lilith

Lilith (; Hebrew: לִילִית‎, romanized: Līlīṯ) is a demonic figure in Judaic mythology, supposedly the primordial she-demon and alternatively first wife of Adam. She is presumed to be mentioned in Biblical Hebrew in the Book of Isaiah, and later in Late Antiquity in Mandaean Gnosticism mythology and Jewish mythology sources from 500 CE onwards. Lilith appears in historiolas (incantations incorporating a short mythic story) in various concepts and localities that give partial descriptions of her. She is mentioned in the Babylonian Talmud (Eruvin 100b, Niddah 24b, Shabbat 151b, Baba Bathra 73a), in the Book of Adam and Eve as Adam's first wife, and in the Zohar Leviticus 19a as "a hot fiery female who first cohabited with man".Lilith perhaps originated from an e… more »

I wish I could
Take a breath in this mess, it's only
Counting days to the rythm of the
God damn clock supervising, ticking
Sentence me but one day I'll be free
Oh, I know
There's no way further low, Lord
Let me know
What awaits as award
I wish you found me
When it was so much, much easier
To go on, crack a smile, take a breather
I need a break but right now I'm cool with it
Imma push and avoid bullshittin'
Set the bar high
Lighters up, we touch the sky
Gotta peek a lil' before
Taking off then I'll be flying
(I'm too, I'm too, tired, I'm too, I'm too)
I'm too tired of feeling tired
Glancing at what I desire
Trying to race with a flat tire
My feet burning like it's fire
Chill, listen
I don't mean to be bitchin'
I just wanna find my place and get on glistenin'
I just wanna turn some things and make it different
Turn to flame that light that's been on flickering
Turn to truth all the scenes that I've been picturing
And then I swear from the day I can fly
I'm never gonna stop 'till the reaper comes by
I wish I could
Take a breath in this mess, it's only
Counting days to the rythm of the
God damn clock supervising, ticking
Sentence me but one day I'll be free
Oh, I know
There's no way further low, Lord
Let me know
What awaits as award
I wish you found me
When it was so much, much easier
To go on, crack a smile, take a breather
I need a break but right now I'm cool with it
Imma push and avoid bullshittin'
Set the bar high
Lighters up, we touch the sky
Gotta peek a lil' before
Taking off then I'll be flying
I think I'm gonna
Leave you here for a while, for self care
Have routines, find a spot with fresh air
Levitate 'till I can get over
Spiky wires that I built, take over
Under open sky where we all then may ally
But you gotta first make peace with yourself, your little creases
Before attempting
To go on, open eyed, discover
Colors, textures, seasons, lovers
What a crowd sounds like - it's crazy
Terrifying but you missed it, maybe
Outta from these doors, wander, look, open the drawers
It's warmer in the sun after years of rain are gone
(I'm too, I'm too, tired, I'm too)
