I was gonna be the greatest while the world could see
But even at the end, I couldn't beat him at my peak
He was a born leader and he had an affinity
For keeping people safe, something that I could achieve
But not without the pain that had stayed inside of my brain
Feeling like I'm lost and that will never change

I'm a failure of a hero
Worse is that of a father
I was driven mad for power
My own wife, I nearly lost her
Now that doesn't change the past
Nor allow me to atone
I see the world so clearly
As I sit atop this throne

I inspired fear into those that I protect
My own family wants to hang me by the neck
With this new perspective I'll be giving it my best
To be the new symbol and to stand among the rest

The pain of my past hurts more than my flames
But i need to pave the way for the son in my wake

I would love to make a promise
But all my promises burn
Being number one
Is something that I don't deserve
Working 'til I gain the title
One that I will earn
My flames will shed some new light
All these villains shall burn

I wanted to win so badly
That I did horrible things to my family

Pushed away my sons and daughter
Still demand they call me father
My own pride and joy looks at me
As if I am a monster

I need to earn their trust
Gain their love
It may never happen
But I'll reach high above

Be a light in dark
For those who are scared
Might not be All Might
But still, I am here
I'll hold back the Nomu
While the coast is cleared
Using Hellflame
I'll protect what's dear

I need to be what a father should be
Then maybe they'll be proud of me
Proud of the man who can't be beat
Going PLUS ULTRA
I'm a beast

Even though the battle has been won
I need to take a look at who I've become
A man who turned his eye upon the weak
And felt that they were so far below me
I needed to know that I was elite
The best of the best
I can't be beat
But a symbol is more than just peace
It's a man who can take defeat
Get back up from beneath
See the damage and demand that it cease
Become a wall
One that can breath
Save them all
Without taking a knee
Become a beacon
One that won't fall
Look at the heroes
And the inspire them all
But until then
All you have is me
And I am a hero
Who is bringing the heat

Risking my life
Putting up fight
I may not have the strength
But I'll protect what is mine

Hit 'em with a flashfire fist
There is no way I will quit
You may be stronger than me
But you there is one thing you forget

You are me
From the past
Belittle the weak
And victory is up for the grab
You believe that you're better
Able to stand in the toughest of weather
But you failed, and i'll tell you why
You let me take you high into the sky
Where collateral damage is vain
And when I am done you will know pain
My fist I will raise
