I was so worried about what others might find if I decided to let my mind outside

On a stage
Literally on any spotlight
And now I’m standing with with the mic in my hand
Looking out at a crowd
Screaming I don’t understand while mummy looks at me proud
She tells me carry on, but I don’t know what I am even standing on
This isn’t fun

I used to be so depressed, I was so upset

I look back on my life, and for most of that time I felt like I didn’t deserve it
How can good things be for bad persons
If I didn’t work for it how could I earn it
Self sabotage ensued, I didn’t like the rules
I didn’t like the feeling of the grace I owed it to
Now I tell this tale to you so that you could tell it too
You can do what you been called to with the proper attitude
And it’s not about false hope or laws of attraction
I believe in reality greater than all distractions
I believe in faith, hope, love and direct action
I know life is not just about my satisfaction
So I resolve to walk in truth, I resolve to walk in grace
I resolve to never hide, I will occupy my space
I will seek, I will find, I’ll be led to operate
I will trust in the Lord and he’ll make my path straight.
