Searching for love that's already defined, trying to find
Someone you can design
Design him how you want him to be, but a true tree
Doesn't come from a morphed seed

Why must you be happy deceivingly
Morphing to agree with the people you choose to see
The people you choose to be

Breath of a charlatan stole benevolence, gave me a vision
Of a loathsome lament
I attempt to let the wind carry me as you cut the strings
That you wove for me

A fool for loving you
Ms. Sycophant

Why must you be happy deceivingly
Morphing to agree with the people you choose to see
The person you chose to be
