Playing out in the street
I didn't sound real proper
But it made me feel complete

Enjoyin' the weather outside
I was asked if I could play but I had no plan

If I said I wasn't nervous I'd be lyin' I would be wrong

I jammed and played I sang my heart out
I messed up some notes but I had fun no doubt
9 bucks is enough to make me smile
Until this is over I can't play for awhile

I'll be honest I've been havin' some money problems
I just quit my job so it's my fault but I'm feelin' awesome
