Dip to Manila and glance around
But couldn't help but frown cuz of the shanty town
Took a night bus up to Batad and saw God
When the beauty of the mountainside inspired awe
Saw Cebu City dudes picking through trash
Poor street begging young kid with no hands
Sad man some of this shit just ain't right
Widespread plights of pain of all types
That's what you gain from life when one roams
Three months later, time to come home

What was it like to come home?

So I get a ticket and I buy a plane ride out 
And wow I'm quite proud I'm a changed guy now
Makes me realize how out of place this sounds
But a while back shit I used to hate this town
Now I look around amazed at roadways
How they're all paved and I don't worry 'bout rogue waves
Less stray dogs more clean water and more guns
But could probably use a few less cunts and more monks
Puts a lot of shit into perspective
Makes me realize all the prizes I'm blessed with
Makes me wanna get rich cuz there's opportunity to
Makes me wanna rearrange what I usually do
Makes me wanna use music to travel more 
So I can go around and represent battle born
Gotta plan a tour, gotta buy some merch
