Seven days to Christmas just one more week to go
Seven days to please my wife or I won't dare go back home
It's not that I don't love her my loving never stops
But the beer's so good I can't leave the pub 
And I'm much too drunk to shop

It starts around October-time it's every single year
She's dropping hints about something she wants
And every week that follows the list it just gets longer
And beer's the only thing that keeps me sane

Shopping is a woman thing my woman does it well
She starts at 9 am and shops all day
Coming through the door with more bags than Transit van could hold
Shouting - Have a guess how much money I've just saved
