As Jesus stood by the lake
The people crowded to see His face
So He sat down in a boat and said
The Kingdom of God is near so repent
All the people worshipped and praised His Holy name
They knew somehow now God was here 
Things would never be the same
He healed their sick with a loving touch 
With just a word demons had to flee
Jesus came that the blind might see 
By His power He set the captives free  
The people pondered in their hearts all that they had seen

Jesus finished and then turned to Simon
He said let's fish out in deep water
But Simon said we've worked all night 
And we couldn't catch any fish though we tried
But Simon trusted Jesus word so he set out to try
Could this man truly know the sea better than I
Something deep inside Simon 
Spurred him on to go with Jesus
Jesus came that the blind might see 
By His power He set the captives free
Simon wondered what does this man want with me?

At Jesus word the nets went down
They couldn't believe the fish they found
So many that the nets began to break
With more fish than both boats could take
When Simon Peter saw this he fell at Jesus knees
He said go away from me Lord I am a sinful man
But Jesus said Simon don't be afraid
Now you will catch men
I have come that the blind might see 
I have come to set the captives free
Your eyes are open so come now and follow Me
It is time for you to follow Me
