My heart is breaking Nah for real like, I can feel it aching Another black life unarmed But you see their skin as a weapon WHY DO YOU THINK PUBLIC ENEMY CALLED THEMSELVES PUBLIC ENEMY? Testing times more than ever But we've gotta stick together Even though we gotta distance socially I heard my brothers shouting so vocally As if I could feel their heart beating openly Hearing & seeing actions so absurd Justifying how you’re white & sing the N word Ya see... I'll never apologise for being rude when defending right It’s like I see you behaving crude & question how you sleep at night We gotta check our priorities We have minorities within minorities & Everyone in such a rush to paint minorities with the same brush Hell is empty, the devils are here Be cautious who you keep near Don’t appropriate We appreciate Even Muslim culture is plagued by what others think & Being considered more beautiful For fairer skin Where the f*ck is the morality?! I feel tightness in solidarity But also feel loose in the transparency Seeing people posting on Facebook like "Why are the black kids shouting angrily, cause all lives matter" I'm sick of seeing about all lives Cause when it comes to black pride, you all hide The only thing that should be separated by colour is laundry Take a sec & Tap inside our heart Do you think we’ve ever wanted to pull the race card? Never wanted to but it’s been our guard Sometimes kill em with kindness Sometimes kill em with blindness But for f*ck sake stop killing minorities with violence The same systems in which those innocent lives trusted Were the saw ones that murdered them with injustice Discrimination is discrimination & I've been discriminated against for being Asian I felt the warm world turn cold when I was 6 years old 9/11, least we forget I mean how could I ever forget when a stone & glass landed so close to my head, Innocence destroyed within interrogation But we as a generation are able to fulfill salvation & I know the moment I say white privilege The reaction is imminent I do it aware of the backlash cause we ain't had the same upbringing you’ve had When you're younger you get taught how to ride bikes When other communities be teaching their kids how to stay alive & Not get enticed when they’re pulled up on by a cop or 5 Remember, without blacks there’s no White House I thought of something & it hit deep The only time you’ll never be judged for what you have to say is when you can’t even speak Mind over matter That’s all that matters So when you feel as if life splatters Pick up your brush & paint your canvas Yes, all lives matter But browns & blacks don’t stand a chance Cause we ain't accepted for what’s in our hearts Skin colour & beards talk So they’ve already made their stance Pride & prejudge shifting us all apart They try & end us before we even start It's why we have more ammunition Extra levels of desire & ambition Try & defend the brutality You best check your mentality
