Alright, I got a few things on my mind
So just bear with me while I let my mind do the talking
Here we go

Yeah alright let me take you for a ride in my mind
Bumpier than any mine cart in HP you can find
You can't see the red lights in these synapses
Can't imagine anyone putting up with the daily relapses
They say Doyle based it on Bell but what rings true
Is that he saw into the future and he knew
That a precocious individual would be born
With so many goals but alone and torn

Every time I meet a human on this planet
Every idiosyncrasy comes rushing to my mind like a magnet
Unintentionally judging, deciphering the bluffing
Unravelling the cause of the cunning and ducking
Most of the delightful people I have had the privilege of knowing
Have less substance than air but think they're CEO of Boeing
No emotions installed, memory of a byte
Unfortunate waste of life, no goals in sight

Just think about it for a second what if the kid you raised
Scorn is the only word they knew, genuinely depraved
I don't know who's to blame but what I know for sure
As long as their mirror is lying to them there is no cure
Yeah I might be too sensitive or introverted for them
But at least I have morals and values from which I stem
Every action, every word, every emotion is inferred
Every look, every silence, don't be deceived by my shyness

How does an empty mouth and full brain have more EQ
Than a yapping loud and proud mouth with a coating of BS too
Let me reassure you, I'm not here to brag
I can guarantee I got many a red flag
Since the day every real-life chat snapped
Struggling to keep up with the Gen Z and adapt
FB and SMS ramming through walls like its paper
Hibernating in a thin burrow while they only vapour

My mind has not been built for tiny talk
More built to spend every second tryna to beat the clock
Took a while to understand relativity
Gonna take even longer to escape captivity
Prisoner of my mind, Alcatraz would be simpler
Since I was a young kid, I've always been insular

Lately I've been losing respect
For the firms that blindly reject
The talent they neglect
Never considering the effect
On the lives of those who not only give up blood and tears
But also money and happiness for the prior few years
Sick of these humans flaunting their experience
Soulless individuals keeping a seat warm for long periods
I don't seem to remember Darwin mentioning sheep
All these masked faces copying when the going gets steep

For the next few decades my goal is to land it
Keep grinding and climbing till the day I leave this planet
My gut, my compass, my mind, my armour
Gonna be proud to pass on my wisdom as a father
