I got lucky with the life I was given
I never go around whining as if I was a victim

I feel fine, a doctor's verdict ain't deciding my life, I'll have a couple operations 
I'm alright with the knife
We're at least a couple decades off of crying goodbyes
I'll have the time of my life I can rely on my wife and feel better'
