So you try your best to hide 
Behind cheap and shitty jokes to keep them laughing
How long can you keep this act up

I don't know if this is exactly how I pictured bliss
Spending all my time wanting to leave
Somewhere I unfortunately need

Sand away your days and have the dust get sucked away
By the walls inside this place
Years will disappear and no amount of import beer
Will ever bring back days from the past
When you felt like life made much more sense

Is this a wick or a wire 
Strike up a match start the fire
Either way, we're both getting burned
Either way, we're both gonna learn
That nothing's true, everyone leaves

Blaming everyone else for shit you did yourself

That's all I see staring back at me
But it is not what I believe

Just cuz I'm a skeptic doesn't make it less pathetic
I'll still base the way I spend my week off of a fucking excel spreadsheet
Buying Red Bull every morning while consistently ignoring 
Where I'm at and where I'm going, at this point all I know is
Being more complacent will not find your next replacement
Because shit don't change unless you change it

I am sure that this isn't how I wanted to exist
Becoming something I swore I'd never be
So, let's all shout laments out in the name of apathy
And 
Throw the nametag, buy a forty, grab a fifty sac and meet me
In the back where we can all say
"IT'S TIME THAT WE ALL FOUND BETTER WAYS"
