It's good to want to be better You'll stay hungry stay focused You know what I mean And of course it would be great if you could benefit off of this And you know, make lots of money That'll all be great That'll all be great but you know Keep your mindset Your mind on the plan push and do it as long as you love it at this point You don't want to do the point where you can get the money But a lot of people fall out of love with it Because a lot of other shit comes with that But if you do it because you love it Good at it, and successful at it then you know Just try to be the best you can be man Just keep on, keep on pushing Look What's your motive? What's your motive in making these lyrics? Are you trying to touch the people as soon as they hear it? See I'm doing this because I wanna change the game People get chills when they hear me brother we ain't the same Love for the game the reason I'm making these moments 4AM with no sleep borderline in hypnosis It takes Cojones to exploit the opponents Man I think the message was clear I'm a Demi-god and all of y'all know it I could burp on a beat and y'all rappers would probably quote it Hercules, I'm hurting these phonies Overly flowed with bonus quotas from my past endeavors as a ball player Wasn't tall but was a shot maker lyrical Darth Vader Hit your prostate when I swing the saber with lots of weight behind it Your comments I'm feeling a lot of hate behind them You said I couldn't do it, making mistakes with rhyming My response is my last track, a great reminder Escape the drama in 05' by tape rewinding Old cassettes in my Daddy's dresser that was my first assignment Playing "The Chronic" while the chronic contemplation On why they got a leaf on the CD was one of my observations Naive for sure I was only like 5 years old But I learned my history quick, can tell y'all ain't got that in y'all soul The Eric B's and Rakim's EPMD's and Pac, Big , 90's and 80's Man y'all worship Gunna and Lil Baby We don't do this for the fame still be rapping without, We don't do this for the women, the money or clout While I'm route of becoming one of the greatest I can't deflect the regrets of me being the only one that made it Well I ain't make it yet But when I hear y'all spittin' man im feeling just like the stage is set Expectations keeping me on the line like I paid the refs I'm technical with textual segments go 'head and place the bets My main objective before my body gets laid to rest Is to try and cultivate new perspectives and gain respect with all the people But the social spectrum is far from equal I find it harder and harder for me to talk to people Even if they compliment me on how my bars are lethal I can't fight the urge to expose you rappers that's false and feeble Your talk is cheaper than using coupons at dollar tree Harmonies of my mental is stronger than your discography Man what's your motive? Is it personas that you wanna live in? Trust me I see through that Ferragamo and True Religion Your true position is insecurity Mixed with some personal demons also with fears of what I'm sure to be Surgery couldn't cure how important some reassurance is Your Yes-Men can prevent from finding your purpose Man flourish it's what we need to see But all I see is toting guns that you'll never use up and down on my Twitter feed Man Nipsey getting hit with six hollow tips You kidding me? Put the guns away we got enough of that I'm the city streets And now you wonder why I'm in this rapping killing spree I thought setting the bar would challenge you rappers mentally but While I'm so focused on just teaching y'all a lesson And trying to stop my people from being a convalescent And constant stressing on how to evolve within all the pressure How about I look in the mirror and ask myself the question What's my motive? Jay! Javen Don't put this out nowhere, but aye this is me ESKETIT No, you have my jacket Champion, I'm a champion Goat, Jay I'm a champion, oh my god That's all I gotta say That's all I gotta say What's my motive in making these lyrics? Is it to channel my thoughts as a conspiracy theorist Am I honestly just looking for some confirmation Making me feel less guilt my calling myself the greatest Senior week the first time I got wasted that's all I was saying They say the truth starts to come out when you're intoxicated Maybe that ain't the truth Maybe I'm just too overconfident and hate to lose And rotted with jaded views And highly enthused with always copping the latest shoes And tryna top all the rappers that y'all compare me to So don't compare me to Kendrick Lamar Don't compare me to Eminem, Logic, or even Nas I appreciate the comparisons but knock it off Just label me as a rapper that will defy the odds I tie the cross around my neck Hoping that forces me into believing something Am I writing these lyrics cuz' I believe in nothing Am I writing these lyrics to hide the fact that every time I go to church I'm always thinking out leaving the function I need abundance of love and affection But personality issues starts to promote lots of rejection Aggression and maybe pessimism Maybe I'm blessed with wisdom Maybe I'm writing these lyrics because they help me listen To my thoughts and intuitions and prevent me from going ballistic Every time I see just you flaunting your pistol Or every time I hear you say that my bars aren't official Maybe you're hating and thankfully I caught your intentions Lost on the vision of always being caught in the distance It's an awful mission on trying to be a spark for the city Maybe I'm writing these lyrics so I can tame my pride So I can find my emotions and hopefully find my bride Or maybe recognize and reconcile on what I felt Maybe I'm writing these lyrics so I can find myself So I can find myself So I can find myself Mirror Mirror
