I remember when I was young and filled with my childish fancies
I used to daydream at the edge of the pond
Dreaming of the things I knew I would accomplish one day
How great I would be

There were dragonflies dancing among the lilies and reeds
Soaring so care-free beneath a summer sky
They were all my friends, heroes in my own fantasy
