Lemme tell you a story about these two biochemists
Even though they wasn't scientists, but know I ain't trippin'
In a world where the people take pride in they sinnin'
These two made the reason how I make a difference
Let's start with the female scientist that's in my favor
We gone refer to her as "Dr. Taylor"
Taylor's part in this project was rather major
I just only wish that somebody could've saved her
Dr. Taylor grew up in the Michigan state
Detroit city to be exact, but it wasn't great
You see, Dr. Taylor was raised in a single parent home
With brown colored relatives that used to call her "Bone"
Childhood was rough, she dealt with struggle firsthand
Seemingly her future was molded for worse plans
Dealt with different characters whose names ain't worth sayin'
Next thing you know, see bumped into her first man
"Dr. Williams" was the name, that's the other scientist
Williams had charisma that fell under Taylor's likening
First meeting they had, each other's style, they were biting it
But the chemistry they had could've invented Vicodin
Williams and Taylor, they worked well together 
They got shit done through rain, sleet, hail, whatever
So much so that they could probably tell the weather
I just only wish that Dr. Williams's tale was better
One day, they started on the project of their lives
But out of wedlock, there wasn't husbands or wives
A nine-month process, but it wasn't odd
Little did they know that they've just created a god
First project was a success, but they wasn't finished
And though, they weren't rich, their conditions diminished 
They still made another project, but they had to go stork it
Because they honestly just couldn't afford to support it
Later down the line, the two were at a laundromat 
Arguing about something unimportant, that's a fact
Williams kissed Taylor goodbye and brung her in
But Taylor didn't know that's the last she'll see Williams again
Williams was walking to a nearby store
Not knowing that he would never walk any more
He was suddenly struck by a car that couldn't cease to go
Life claimed on Valentine's Day 2K0
Through their first project arrived in the darkest of storms
Williams and Taylor would've never guessed a star was born
And though they felt the same about the project's brother
That's the first project Williams held in his arms on this cover
